Billy Goat (430 N. Michigan Lower Level)
Come join our band of two wheeled miscreants on our monthly alcoholic frolic through the streets of our fine city. We have a great ride planned that, if I dont get hit by a car in the next few days, I plan to finish this month.
From this months ride architects:
It is that time again Marauders’ for our monthly pillage into the night which will also coincidently be the first night of Summer. What better way to welcome summer than to have our newest council members the Mexican and the Ninja lead us on a midnight ride under the starry moon. The route has been planned and will travel thru vast unknown territories never before explored! Our journey will begin at Midnight at the Billy Goat (430 N. Michigan Lower Level) and will promptly leave at Midnight from the Goat, so join us for the very first MEXICAN-NINJA RIDE!!
SUNDAY 6/21
Forgotten Chicago: Downtown Confidential
Source: http://forgottenchicago.com/get-involved/walking-tours/tour-%E2%84%96-4-downtown-confidential/
June 21st and 28th
On this walking tour, we’re going to do the opposite of every other downtown walking tour. Instead of Sullivan and skyscrapers, we’ll be looking at various marginal structures like parking garages, three and four story brick buildings, aging facades, and interesting conversions. We’ll look at examples of a gradually disappearing mixed-use Downtown which is hidden in plain sight.
When? June 21 and June 28 – High Noon
Where? The Loop, Downtown, The Central Business District, etc.
How much? $10
